Our Commitments

At World Centric, we focus our efforts where we believe we can contribute meaningfully: through the products we design, the profits we redistribute, and how we participate differently in extractive systems. These commitments guide our actions. They don’t solve the root problems, but they represent conscious choices about how we operate within broken systems.

B Corp Supply Chain score of 7.6

More than double the industry average.

As a Certified B Corp and California Benefit Corporation, we hold ourselves to standards for ethics, sustainability, and social responsibility. Our B Corp Supply Chain score of 7.6 is more than double the industry average. This reflects our commitment to responsible sourcing and fair labor practices within supply chains where exploitation is normalized.

Our Commitment
to People and Planet

Commitment to Reducing Waste

The average person generates over four pounds of trash each day, much of it plastic used briefly but lasting for decades. This reflects deeper challenges in how materials are produced and consumed. We create compostable packaging and foodservice ware as a better alternative to traditional plastics and foam, while recognizing that material substitution alone is not the final answer. Our long-term vision is a future built on reuse.

Rooted in Fairness

Each year, World Centric redistributes a portion of profits to our supply chain: bonuses to suppliers and factory workers who make our operations possible. Our business depends on their labor, and the standard economic model undervalues that contribution.

Alleviating Extreme Poverty

Inequality continues to grow, with billions of people lacking access to basic needs while extreme wealth concentrates at the top. This reflects structural challenges in today’s economic systems. We donate 25% of our profits to grassroots initiatives focused on clean water, housing, healthcare, education, economic opportunity, and environmental restoration. While grants alone do not solve systemic problems, they provide critical support now. We believe addressing immediate human and ecological needs must happen alongside long-term change.
