Profit With a Purpose

Our giving centers on the overlapping crises of extreme poverty and environmental degradation, which continue to disproportionately affect vulnerable communities. Since 2009, more than $23 million has been directed to programs worldwide addressing basic needs, expanding economic opportunity, and generating environmental benefit through accountable and efficient use of funds.

• Direct Cash for Impact:
  Investing in data-driven organizations addressing urgent human and ecological needs across eight core impact areas, with more than $23 million directed to programs worldwide since 2009.
• Backyard Giving:
  Directing $100,000 to 14 U.S. nonprofits on the frontlines of climate action, human rights, and independent media in response to today’s most pressing threats.
• Regional Giving:
  Supporting U.S.-based nonprofits tackling food waste, plastic pollution, composting infrastructure, and foodservice equity, guided by Regional Sales Managers rooted in their communities.
• Staff Giving:
  Empowering every World Centric employee to direct $2,000 in annual profits toward the organizations that matter most to them, with priorities shaped by an internal volunteer committee.
• Product Donations:
  Providing compostable foodservice products to more than 216 schools, community groups, and nonprofits hosting events that advance social justice, sustainability, and human rights.
